Description

When I shot this photograph I knew it was amazing, but you never really know until the film comes back. This is one of my favorite moments from that day at the bay everything seemed to come together for this one perfectly.

Frame by Jen Homcy: Spalted maple salvaged from a lumber mill in Tennessee by my father around 1996. His ex-student contacted him to tell him that he was operating a mill that threw away a lot of wood and invited my father to visit and pillage the trash piles. This was from one of two trips he made to that mill.
