This shot is part of a series of photographs taken one summer day at Waimea Bay. I love the motion of the fish, my shutter was set at 1/500 and it still did not stop their movement.
Frame by Jen Homcy: This frame is made from a mahogany deck board of the retired UH research vessel the R/V Moana Wave. The wood was salvaged by a UH Oceanography Researcher who gifted it to me. The ship was built in 1973 and was decommissioned on May 31, 1999.
